Men, women, and others clad in tight leather fill our queer history books. This exhibit brings history to life through an oral history gallery exhibition exploring testimony from Montréal’s leatherfolk past, present and future. Enjoy audio recorded stories, explore maps of the gay bars from Montreal's history, and check out the leather gear that defines so many kinksters and queers.
The exhibition was originally presented in August 2017 as a part of Fierté Montréal Canada.
Check back regularly as we announce upcoming exhibitions, as well as artist talks, seminars, and lectures.
Voices in Leather will be released in podcast format in 2018. The exact release date will be announced shortly.
